Christopher Charles Dixon was born Oct. 30,1969, in Atlanta Georgia. His parents were C. Curtis Dixon and Rosemary Ferguson Dixon, both originally from Tennessee. Chris showed early signs of musical talent, and after graduating from Walton HS in Cobb County, he spent the summer touring with the Tams as their keyboardist. After graduating from Florida State University, he performed with his brother in productions with the Southeastern Savoyards, singing chorus and solo roles. Chris worked as a video editor for Atlanta’s Channel 5 News, winning a local Emmy for his editing there, and for the Wedding Channel. He was also a dog lover and a talented baker. He is survived by his brother, Curt Dixon, sister-in-law Gwenyth Dixon, nephews Cameron Dixon and Connor Dixon,and by his former wife Mukta Chandora and their daughter Asha Dixon.
