Christopher Scott La Belle

Christopher LaBelle, 54, of Vinings, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2014. He was married to Terry LaBelle Harris for 14 years and was a devoted father to sons Robert (18) and Morgan (13). He was preceeded in death by his mother, Linda Wentworth LaBelle, (Seattle,WA). Surviving are his father, Ernest LaBelle and his wife Francis, (Wyoming); Devoted Step-mother, Patty LaBelle, (California); Brother and Sister- in- law, Mike and MJ LaBelle, (Alpharetta,GA); Stepsister, Terri LaBelle Cruse, (Cal.); Stepbrother, Brian LaBelle (Cal.); along with many loving nieces and nephews. Chris was born in California and came to Georgia in the early 80’s. He received his MBA from Georgia Tech in ’97 and was proud to be a "Ramblin Wreck ". He worked at Scientfic Atlanta, now Cisco from 1980 - 1992, starting in the mailroom and working his way up to Project Manager through intense work ethic and determination. He was named Sr. Manager at SITA, the world’s leading specialist in air transport communications and information technology from 2002 -2014, overseeing Airport and Airline IT Systems globally. Chris had a passion for the outdoors including snow skiing out West. His gentle nature let you know of his true loyalty as a friend and person. His eyes smiled at you when you met him. He will be missed tremendously. A memorial service will be held Monday at 11:00am at H.M. Patterson & Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd, Atlanta, GA 30328. Reception for family and friends celebrating Chris’ life held afterwards at the home of Mike and MJ LaBelle.
