Claire G. Farley, 71, of Dunwoody, passed away October 25, 2013. Mrs. Farley is survived by her husband of 46 years, Doug Farley; mother, Nellie Griggs of Blue Ridge, daughters, Tracey L. Farley, Nikki Yarnall; and grandchildren, Jack and Nicholas Yarnall. Claire fought a courageous battle with a rare cancer over the last two years. Claire’s sense of humor and love of her family helped her as she never complained during her illness. An early adapter of the two handed backhand, she loved tennis and vacation planning and totally supported her husband, Doug in his entrepreneurial adventures. Having two daughters, she so enjoyed two grandsons as “her boys”. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society noted “specifically adenocarcinoma – primary of unknown origin”. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 1, 2013 at two o’clock with the family receiving friends beginning at one o’clock at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd., NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
