I knew Don from our association with the Risk and Insurance Management Society and served under his direction as Chairman of the Governmental Affairs Committee for several years and also as a Vice President during his term as President. Don shared with me a great deal of his knowledge both in the area of governmental affairs, but also in how to be a good leader. His friendship and willingness to share his vast knowledge will always be greatly appreciated. I am saddened at hearing of his death and will keep him and his family in my prayers. Don, thank you for everything you did for me and for your wonderful guidance.
