Donna J. Cassity passed away peacefully on July 27, 2026. She is survived by her 3 children, Shey Champion, Michael James Webb (Denise); and Teri McIntyre (Chuck McDonald); 12 grandchildren, Kevin Hatchett, Jeramie Hatchett, Erica Thompson (Jason), Justin Harrison (Laura), Brie Webb, Nicki Webb, Aron Webb, Bryan Kinney, Aimee Phillips, Joey Kinney (Lauren), Sydney Sutlive (Barry Jr.), Shelby O’Herien (Ryan); 21 great-grandchildren whom she adored. Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Everett Ross and Ina Margaret Dennison Ross, her infant daughter Ina Elizabeth Webb, 2 sisters and 3 brothers, and the love of her life, late husband Pratt W. Cassity.
Donna loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and taking care of her birds. She hosted countless holidays and birthday celebrations at her home and encouraged friends and extended family to be in attendance. She loved traveling with her late husband Pratt and attending church activities. Donna was successful in business and a lifelong learner. She was a realtor in the mid 70’s, ran a Nationwide Insurance agency in the 80’s and 90’s and then worked for the SBA processing disaster relief loans. This last career move brought great satisfaction to her helping people that suffered hardships from disasters and developing lasting friendships. She was quick to lend support to sell pecans for Christian Women’s Fellowship or picking up grandchildren from school when needed. (As she lovingly referred to as windshield time). Donna cared deeply for her family and always was ready to encourage, uplift and offer support. She had a jovial wit and sense of humor that was infectious. More than anything else, her faith in Jesus Christ was a guiding force in her life.
