Eli Henry Carrillo, 28, of Sandy Springs, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2026, leaving behind a world that is brighter because he was in it.
Eli was born to Kleber Carrillo and Genevieve Forner. From the very beginning, he brought a special light into the lives of those who loved him. His warmth, his presence, and the love he so freely gave touched the hearts of his family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to know him.
Eli shared a particularly beautiful and cherished bond with his parents: Kleber and Genevieve. Their love was deep, tender, and unwavering. They were a constant source of love and comfort in his life, and he was a beloved son whose presence brought immeasurable joy to theirs. The connection they shared was a gift—one that will remain forever in their hearts and in the hearts of everyone who witnessed it.
Eli attended North Springs High School. He will be remembered not simply for the years he lived, but for the love he gave, the joy he shared, and the light he brought into the lives around him. There was something uniquely special about Eli’s presence. He had a way of making the world feel warmer, and his memory will continue to shine through the people who loved him.
Eli is survived by his parents, Kleber Carrillo and Genevieve Forner; his sister, Amy, his brother, Kleber Jr.; his uncles, Henri, Oscar, Angel, and Dennis; his aunts, Christine, Jimena, and Janeth; and his grandmother, Mariana.
Though our hearts are broken by his passing, Eli’s love will not leave us. It lives on in his family, in the memories he created, in the lives he touched, and in every bit of light he left behind. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Eli’s memory to the DDD Foundation online at www.dddfoundation.org, or by mailing a check to:
