Mrs. Elizabeth Anderson Mitchell, 101, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Roy Mitchell and son Thomas Marvin Mitchell. Surviving are her son, Roy Mitchell; daughter, Ann Mitchell Higdon; grandchildren, Elizabeth Higdon, Thomas Roy Mitchell, II, and Kristie Mitchell. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 28th at eleven o’clock at Arlington Chapel with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. Dr. Charles Qualls will officiate. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. There will be no visitation at the residence.
