

Evan Lee Braunstein passed away on March 29, 2019 at the age of 33 after a 4-year courageous battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Evan was a New Year’s Eve baby born in Williamsburg, VA on December 31, 1985. He was ready to have a good time in life. He loved cooking, driving his Jeep in the sunshine, reading financial books, watching sports, movies, and playing video games. He also really loved his great hair. He was a graduate of Walsingham Academy, University of Mary Washington, and the MBA program at the University of Georgia, go dawgs! Evan was a Financial Analyst with AT&T in Atlanta and was dedicated to his career.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Braunstein. He is survived by his wife, Rachel Amanda Braunstein, his mother Indiana Saunders and her husband Charles, his brother Dave Braunstein and his wife Kristine.
He has an extended family of cousins, aunts, and uncles with whom he loved spending holidays and sharing good times. Evan had many friends and he will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Dr. Hanna Jean Khoury Fellowship in honor of Evan Braunstein. Dr. Khoury was not only a physician to Evan, but a close friend and mentor during their fights with cancer.
