Frances S. Magbee

Mrs. Frances Shepard Magbee, 88, of Dunwoody died on Wednesday, the 27th of November at her residence. A native of New Orleans she was a longtime member at Kingswood United Methodist Church. Frances was a beloved wife, Mother, and Mema, loved and admired by all who knew her. Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Charles M. Magbee; children, Charles M. Magbee, Jr., Kathleen Shepard Magbee (Carlton Brown), Robert G. Magbee and his wife Carolyn; and 10 grandchildren, Erin Leigh Magbee, Sarah Frances Magbee, Kylie Shepard Brown, Kate Margaret Brown, Carly Elizabeth Brown, Robert G. Magbee, Jr., Catherine Anne Magbee, Laura Elizabeth Magbee, Anthony Sanfilippo, and Joseph Sanfilippo. Funeral services will be held Monday, the 2nd of December at ten o’clock in the morning at Kingswood United Methodist Church with Mrs. Magbee lying in state beginning at nine o’clock. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall. Entombment will follow at half past twelve o’clock at Arlington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to St. Simons Land Trust, PO Box 24615, St. Simons Island, GA 31522.
