I met Gil and his parents on a cruise the summer of 1985. I was going through an old box and found a poem he wrote and sent to me on a post card from a place called benjamin and goldies Delicatessen. I just sent him a message and friend request to catch up after so many years. I was too late. I am so sorry for your loss and the loss of an old friend. I would be happy to send  the poem to his family if they wish. Rest in peace Gil.
