WHITE Gloria A. White, a native of Atlanta, died April 9, 2012. Mrs. White was a dedicated wife, mother as well as a devoted member of Wieuca Road Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday school teacher. She fought a courageous battle against medical challenges. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Thomas “Tom” White, Jr. and son, Thomas “Tommy” White, III. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Henry Strunk; sister, Elizabet “Lit” Simms; niece, Dayle Isted and family; and nephew, Jack Simms. Graveside services will be Friday, April 13, 2012 at 11 o’clock at Westview Cemetery with Dr. Mark WIlbanks officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 o’clock at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd, NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
