Harold Hoffner, 70 of Ellijay, GA passed away July 25, 2011. Mr. Hoffner served in the U.S. Army and retired from the New York City Police Department. Harold is survived by his wife Linda Harper Hoffner; sons Eric Hoffner, Phaim Harper, London Harper, and Chad Ricco; 8 grandchildren; and a sister Alice Glenn. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Patterson's Arlington Chapel with Rabbi Barry Coffsky officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:30 PM until the time of the service. A private interment service will be held Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Georgia National Cemetery.
