My deepest condolences to Heidi's family. Thank you for the photos you shared. Certainly, her zest for life and zeal for making the world a better place extended well beyond what brought me the opportunity to cross paths with Heidi: the BMS - Coast2Coast4Cancer bike ride which Heidi completed just a few months ago - Sept 14-16. Heidi cycled from Denver to Kansas City riding 225.3 miles. I can't tell you tell you the exact number of people Heidi inspired over the course of those 3 days in the middle of the US but I can tell you she impacted people beyond her Synergy Cyclers team. Heidi is the strongest woman I have ever cycled with and I will forever be grateful for being a witness to the power of the human spirit. Physically, she should not have been able to do what she did - ride 75 miles day after day. Heidi did not allow a disease to diminish her desire to participate 100% in the C2C4C bike ride: where she trained in honor and memory of family and friends and rode each day for others. Heidi's wit, spirit and welcoming smile will be remembered along with the segment 4 cycling legacy she left.

My beautiful niece, Heidi, was simply an inspiration on how to live life. She experienced as much as she could in her short life and lived it to the fullest. She once told me that she didn't care about presents because she would rather have experiences. That she did. She was always so easy and fun to be around and fit in anywhere. I loved it when she came to visit us because she was always up for anything and we always had a good time. I love Heidi like another daughter and will miss her for the rest of my life. I feel her spirit though, and can imagine that she is exploring Heaven and making many angel friends there. Rest in peace our sweet Heidi. Your loving Aunt Lynda.

I had the pleasure of working with Heidi over the last couple of years. She was an outstanding colleague and well respected by her peers.
We were all so impressed that she rode in the Coast to Coast ride last year in the face of her illness. She never complained and was simply awesome.
This year I will ride in the same Coast to Coast 4 Cancer ride in her memory with my BMS Co-workers.
Our sincere condolences go out to her family. God bless Heidi.

Heidi was an amazing person, coworker and friend who I met when she was at the Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, South Carolina years ago. She was so intelligent and so caring and thoughtful of others with a real zest for Life. We had many discussions about our relationships, Family ( her grandmother and parents) and work when we could get our 30 minute lunches in the cafeteria but better yet on the patio or in the gazebo of the park by the original Nursing Home.
Heidi will surely be missed!
My thoughts and prayers go out to her parents and friends.
GOD has another angel!!!🙏😘

I remember Heidi well. She graduated from AJA with my son Michael. She was a very pretty young lady and so smart. I'm sad that is no longer with us. My prayers are with her family and friends.
