She was a simple country girl with a brilliant and practical mind. She rose quickly to be the vice president at her job and upon the death of her boss, became the president. She ran the company for many years before selling it to a large conglomerate. She was survived by their two children, Mike and Joan Wilson of Hampton, Georgia, Holly and Felix Barton of Cumming, Georgia. She had 4 grandchildren, Jeff and Jen Wilson, Allan and Ginger Farr, Chase and Zack Barton. There were 5 great-grandchildren
As the working mother of 2 children, Michael and Holly, she balanced family life and always had plenty of time to support her husband and the teams he coached. Through every football and basketball season she was his number one fan, cheering, jumping and screaming in excitement with every good play. As a small town country girl, she had known little about sports until the marriage but quickly learned to be a most supporting sports wife.
Throughout her life, there was nothing she couldn't accomplish. While Coyle was studying at Vanderbilt University for his Masters Degree in Industrial Arts, she would scan through his study materials and explain the subjects to him when he struggled. She was always willing to help others, both through her actions, or financially. She gave generously to Southwest Christian Church, Christian City and other institutions that helped those in need
