Ilene Matz

Ilene Matz, born June 4, 1961 in New York died November 14, 2023 at her home in Marietta, Ga surrounded by her family. She is predeceased by her husband of 23 years, Rob Firester and her parents Eugene and Phyllis Matz. She is survived by her awesome and amazing daughters Hope (Gio) and Paige Firester. She is also survived by her sisters Marcie (Mike) Carney and Stephanie (otm) Matz. She leaves behind an amazing community of friends who have been like family to her. Rob and Ilene shared a love of life; games, the beach, laughter, family, and friends, but sadly their lives were both cut incredibly short. Fuck cancer.
