Irving J. Stone, 91, a native Atlantan. Died February 7, 2011. Graveside services will be held at Arlington Cemetery on February 8, 2011, at 3:00p.m. Rabbi Levenberg, officiating. He was predeceased by his wife of over 52 years, Shirley G. Stone. He is survived by 2 daughters, Joyce Buchman and husband, Bill, Linda Wolfe and husband, Bert, son, Robert Stone and wife, Kathy, 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He has been a member of the Marcus Jewish Community Center, the William Breman Jewish Home, Jewish War Veterans, Fulton Lodge #216, Scottish Rite Masonry and the Yaarab Shrine Temple for over 60 years each. Known for his volunteer work in many different organizations, he will be remembered and missed. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Temple Sinai, 5645 Dupree Drive, Atlanta, Georgia, 30327, or a charity of your choice. The family will receive friends at 7485 Old Maine Trail, NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30328, specific times to be announced at the funeral.
