Jack H. King, Sr.

Jack H. King, Sr. 89, a native Atlantan, died on Saturday, the 5th of March 2016. Son of the late Addie Anderson King and George O. King, Sr., Jack was a founding partner of King & Brim Insurance, Inc. He was a longtime member of Sandy Springs United Methodist Church, and was a member and past president of the Buckhead Civitan Club, the Buckhead Fifty Club, and Sandy Springs Youth Football. Jack was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty T. King and son, David A. King. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family and never met a person he couldn’t call a friend. Surviving are his loving wife of over 14 years, Anita W. King; sons and daughter-in-law, Jack H. King, Jr. and Ginny King, Robert T. King; granddaughters, Shelby K. Hayes (Micah), Ashley Sinclair (Jesse), Brandi King; and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, the 9th of March at two o’clock in the afternoon at Sandy Springs United Methodist Church with Reverend Thomas Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers that a memorial contribution be directed to Sandy Springs United Methodist Church, 86 Mt.
