Jason Crawmer Villanueva, age 42, passed away unexpectedly on September 2, 2021 in Roswell, GA. A native of the peach state, Jason was born at Piedmont Hospital on January 18, 1979 to Dr. Ludovico and Karin Villanueva and grew up in the Sandy Springs area with his three siblings. Wafer, as he was lovingly called by his friends, was a yoyo enthusiast and movie connoisseur. A true artist, everything about Jason was unique. His attire, artwork and relationships all depicted little pieces of the eclectic person he was.
Jason is survived by his father, his sister Dawn Levy, and his brothers Eric and Peter Villanueva. He also leaves behind four nieces and two nephews who loved him dearly and his beloved feline, Faye Valentine.
Wafer was a true family man. Though he did not have children of his own, he was heavily involved in the lives of his nieces and nephews and the children of his closest friends. His social media often boasted about a young relative’s baseball or lacrosse game and it was clear how proud he was to be such an active uncle.
Jason will always be known for his contagious smile and generous temperament. Always at the ready to lend a hand or help a friend out, he was a perpetual fixer. He enjoyed lifting people up through humor and irony and never turned down a request for help. This loving and kind spirit of his is that which his family hopes him to be remembered by.
