Joe “Trey” Mitchell Richardson, III of Roswell, Georgia (Atlanta) passed Tuesday, June 11th 2019 after several years of fighting lung/brain cancer. Trey was son of Joe Mitchell Richardson, Jr of Ruston Louisiana and Mary Elizabeth Richardson of Nashville, Tennessee. Trey’s brothers are Mark Richardson, wife Susan Richardson and Kerry Richardson, wife Kim Richardson. He was preceded in death by his father and brother Kyle. Wife of 25 years was Laura Bozard Richardson. Trey was father to daughters, Amanda Elizabeth and Kathryn Lindsay Richardson. Trey also had a son, James Mitchell Fain.
Trey attended Georgia State University in the Business Program. He worked for General Electric for 17 years, which later changed its name to Rexall and continued working for another 13 years.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, the 15th of June at two o’clock in the afternoon at H.M. Patterson & Son Arlington Chapel, Sandy Springs. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park.
