Joyce Cox Jordan

Joyce Cox Jordan, 95, of Sandy Springs died on Tuesday the 8th of December, 2015. “Known to her family as Nana”, Joyce will always be remembered for her kind, outgoing, and generous spirit. A devout Christian, she loved her Lord and was a member of First Baptist Church of Sandy Springs and a lifetime member of Calvary Baptist Church in Jackson, Mississippi. An Angel on Earth and an Angel in Heaven, she leaves behind to cherish her memory her son and daughter-in-law, Paul R. Jordan and Pamela W. Jordan; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and countless friends and acquaintances. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, the 11th of December at two o’clock in the afternoon at the First Baptist Church of Sandy Springs with Reverend David Shivers officiating. A private family interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family Friday afternoon from one o’clock until the hour of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers that contributions be made to First Baptist Church of Sandy Springs, 650 Mt. Vernon Highway, NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328 in Joyce’s memory. Arrangements by H.
