Joyce Mae Rogers, 84, of Dunwoody, GA and formerly of Jacksonville, FL, died October 7, 2017. Mrs. Rogers was a hairstylist and enjoyed a career in Jacksonville for over 50 years. While in Jacksonville she was a member of Ortega Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shelia and Don Shapleigh; grandsons, Timothy Shapleigh, Jonathan Shapleigh and his wife, Jennifer; great grandchildren, Sara Cole Shapleigh, Ford Shapleigh; and sister, Rubye Peel of Jacksonville, FL. A memorial service will be Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11 o’clock with the family receiving friends beginning at 10 o’clock at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd., NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
