Juanita "Nita" Ellison, 93, died March 22, 2017 following an illness, she died peacefully at home. She leaves behind her daughter Cindy Startari, grandson Paul Startari, son Tom Rodgers, his wife Cindy Rodgers, granddaughters Nicole and Brooke Rodgers, her step-children, Robert and Charles Ellison, their wives Phyllis Ellison and Nancy Ellison, and grandchildren, Jason, Candace and Joseph Ellison, grandsons Mills and Porter Stansberry, their wives Amy Stansberry and Andrea Stansberry and great-grandchildren, Griffen, Wade, Traveler and Seaton Stansberry.
Nita was a devoted wife and mother, a friend to all who knew her. A veterans' wife and mother she also worked many years as a medical secretary at Emory University Clinic. She was passionate about Golf and played until she was 84.
A viewing for friends and family will be held Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 2pm at H. M. Patterson & Son Arlington Chapel followed by her burial at 3pm in the Arlington Memorial Park.
