

Mrs. Judith Gahagan Brennan, 78, of Roswell died on Wednesday, the 4th of February 2015. A native of Worcester, Massachusetts she attained her BS from Wheelock College and her MA from Worcester State College in Elementary Education. Mrs. Brennan taught in Mass. before coming to Roswell and teaching at the Harriett Tubman Elementary School, retiring in 2011. She was active with the Atlanta Symphony, worked on several Atlanta decorator show houses and was past President of the Young Matrons Circle for Tallulah Falls. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, David B. Brennan; daughter, Tiffany Lisa Brennan; son and daughter-in-law, D. Scott Brennan and Susan Brennan; grandchildren, Savannah, Hogan, Adison, Jack, Max; and brother and sister-in-law, John P. Gahagan and Ginger Gahagan. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday the 9th of February at half past ten o’clock at St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church with Father Desmond Drummer officiating. Entombment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675 or St Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
