Judith "Judy" Sauer

Born in 1937 in Madison, Wisconsin, Judy was raised by loving parents who instilled in her the values of hard work, kindness, and family. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin and began her career as an elementary school teacher before becoming a highly successful real estate agent and investor.

Judy embraced life with enthusiasm and joy. She loved Wisconsin Badger football, her sorority and dogs, Muffin and Lucy. Judy was a people person through and through and was blessed with many deep and lifelong friendships. She loved her bridge groups, cooking, and continuing her work in real estate. She also enjoyed traveling, walking trips, playing pickleball, exercising, and volunteering with the Community Assistance Center (CAC), the Assistance League, and Alzheimer's fundraising events. Most of all, Judy delighted in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Family was one of life's greatest gifts to her, and she made every gathering warmer with her love, laughter, and generous spirit. She had a remarkable ability to bring energy and light to every room she entered.

Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jim. She is survived by her three sons and their wives, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, 13 nieces and nephews; and many treasured friends.

A Celebration of Judy's Life will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Rivercliff Lutheran Church, 8750 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs, Georgia 30350.
