My friend Virginia and I met Lauren in Slovenia while hiking and enjoyed every day of the trip with her. She was such a bright light and I am sorry to hear of her passing. My friend, Virginia, has also passed…I envision them as angels hiking in the mountains together. Maybe peace be with Lauren’s friends and family.

First , I want to present my deepest sympathy and prayers of strength and comfort to Lauren’s mom, dad, brother and sister and her whole family.
She was a bright, beautiful, kind young lady with a sweet soul. She was successful at all she did and was always outgoing with no fear of obstacles and always saw the bright side on everything. 🌟
She was my friend and she is deeply missed.
I met Lauren at one of the Furkids cats’s adoption center that I was managing after my friend Bob W. offered me to take over.
We became friends and a great team and we decided to manage the center together (with the help of also other volunteers). We had lot of fun doing it and it fulfilled our passion to save and find good home for many cats and we sure did meet our great goals.
I, then, met Lauren’s two furry babies Roxy and Flynn , her beautiful, adorable cats and got the pleasure to care for them when she had to travel . She loved them so much and today I think about them and hope they re ok. I ll be there for them if the family need my help.
I moved to NC four years ago and sure did miss to see them .
So today , I am heartbroken by the loss of my dear friend but it give me strength to remember her, always smiling and be positive and strong in any situation . So I got to believe that God cares for her in love and light and that she wants her family and friends to stay strong and keep her legacy of moving in life with kindness and great goals .
Rest In Peace Sweet Soul. 🙏🌿🌷

Lauren and I went to a number of concerts together - this one, Candler Park Festival in 2016. She loved live music. I will always cherish these memories and all the fun we had together.

First off I want to send my deepest condolences to Lauren’s family and closest friends. I got to know Lauren through a number of business related ventures I shared with Jonathan and Lauren was a total blessing. Kind, funny, real, and incredibly competent and so smart. She was such a ray of light during days that aren’t always so. Lauren, you will be incredibly missed.

Lauren and Jonathan took me to the first Thrashers playoff game and although we lost, Lauren and I got our picture in the Atlanta Journal Constitution! For a few years after that, we would re-enact the photo (so flattering).

This saddens me. A lot. Lauren was my sister's best friend and she was over our house all the time when we were younger.

My deepest condolences to the Harrington family.
