A great friend of myself and of my country Brasil / Federal University of Paraná. Obrigado por tudo Leo.

It saddened me to hear just recently of Leo's passing through a colleague.  Leo and I connected over adolescent health issues during conference and workshop events in Latin America.  As a Brazilian we always had a good chat about Brazilian culture and I so enjoyed his happy demeanor. Blessings for the family & his wonderful memories do live on!

Jane,  I am so sorry to hear about Leo.  You were such an inspiration to me with my dogs.  We still talk about Blazer and Valli not to mention the others.  I still have a elkhound and his name is DeeOhGee.  He ruleks the house and loves to travel from our home in Sarasota to our home in Tennessee.   He loves to roam over the 100 acres following my boys or me.   He also likes to ride on the four wheelers.

Sincere sympathy to Jane and family.  Leo and Jane were our neighbors in Ann Arbor, Michigan many years ago.  Have not seen Leo in many years but he is a man you remember forever.  We enjoyed our time with the Morris' n Atlanta also.  Am sure Leo is at peace with no more pain.  Arlene Haupt, Napa, CA.

To the Morris Family,
When I came to CDC nearly 28 years old, that is when I met Leo Morris.  He sat in his office surrounded by a lot of "stuff" on his desk.  This was during the time that we had to share one Wang computer and Leo had a great deal of statistics and statistical tables that we the support staff processed.

Leo was a wonderful, kind and fair Chief.  

He will be missed by many, many who thought he was a "teddy bear".

Our condolences to Jane, Kim, Lorinda, Eliane and the rest of Leo's family.  He was a great colleague and good friend for more than 40 years.

Dear Jane and family, I had the experience of working with Leo on many eastern Europeans DRH studies in the 90s. He was larger than life and had great stories. I am so sorry for your loss. Blessings to you all.

Am so saddened by this news. Leo will always have a special place in my heart for putting me through 5 hours of craziness at an LSU-UF football game in Baton Rouge several years back. Really loved life. My sympathies to the entire Morris family.

Deepest sympathies from yet another former colleague of Leo's who worked with him in the Family Planning Evaluation Division during the mid-'70s.  He was a constant source of helpful advice, good humor and dependable friendship.  I share your grief and regret that I could not join you in Atlanta today.
