Leta Cox Taylor, 82 of Chamblee died August 14, 2015. Mrs. Taylor was a member of First Baptist Church of Atlanta and worked for In Touch Ministries for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry W. Taylor and is survived by her children, Caryl Taylor Barker (John), Stephen A. Taylor, Sandra Taylor Hackett (Chris); grandchildren, Jeremy Barker (Jessie), Jason Barker, Daniel Barker, Hayley Barker, Katy Barker Morgan (Matt), Nick Hackett, Matthew Hackett; great grandchildren, Calleigh and Kennadie Barker; and sister, Peggy Vaughn. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to In Touch Ministries or First Baptist Church of Atlanta. The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. with a funeral service at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel of First Baptist Church of Atlanta. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park.
