Miss Lucy Jean Crumbley, 84 of Atlanta, died March 25, 2015. Miss Crumbley was born in Atlanta and was the daughter of the late A.J. Crumbley, Sr. and Rubye Nolen Crumbley. She graduated from Brown High School and was a long-time member of Second-Ponce de Leon Baptist Church. Miss Crumbley retired from Piedmont Hospital after 40 years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Dr. A.J. Crumbley, Jr. and is survived by her sister-in-law, Virginia Crumbley Williams and her husband, Alexander M. Williams; nephews, Dr. A.J. Crumbley, III, William M. Crumbley; niece, Kathleen Crumbley Collins; several great nieces and great nephews; and cousins, Caroline Crumbley Howard, Barbara Moore, Robert H. Nolan, Ruth Ann Stover, William H. Nolan, and Rebecca Ingram. Funeral services will be Monday, March 30, 2015 at 2 o’clock at Patterson’s Arlington Chapel. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3 to 5 o’clock and also one and half hours prior to the service at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd., NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
