Marion Anderson Jones, 79, an Atlanta native, died April 21, 2010. Mr. Jones graduated from North Fulton High School, Georgia Institute of Technology, and received a MBA from Indiana State University. He enjoyed a lengthy career with Lockheed and retired as a Senior Structural Engineer. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Marion A. Jones and Bertha S. Jones. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Sarah U. Jones; daughter, Margaret Jones Caput and her husband, Robert; and grandson, Bryan. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Atlanta Union Mission, PO Box 1807, Atlanta, GA 30301-1807 or to St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church, 1978 Mt. Vernon Rd, Dunwoody, GA 30338. Funeral services will be Sunday, April 25, 2010 at 3 o’clock at St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4 to 6 o’clock at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd, NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
