Martha V. Ryals, 100, a longtime resident of Decatur died on Monday, the 29th of February, 2016. Born on January 24, 1916 in Macon, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Mary Helen and Andrew J. Ryals. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 7 brothers and sisters. Martha enjoyed music, traveling, and the beach. She retired from the IRS in 1983 and was a member of First Alliance Church. Surviving are her nephew R. H. “Buddy” Ryals and his wife Freeda; and several great nieces and nephews. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at Cobblestone at Park Springs and Crossroads Hospice for their loving care and support. Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday, the 5th of March at one o’clock at Arlington Memorial Park with the Pastor Peggy Fulghum officiating.
