Mary Ann Brindell, longtime resident of Atlanta, passed away peacefully on September 16th at age 89. Mary Ann was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, the daughter of Jesse and Lillian McLeran. She met the love of her life Bobby, running down the Bay Shore Boulevard when she was 5 years old and Bobby was 8. She graduated Plant High School where she was a Pantherette Cheerleader, then attended Florida State University and pledged Chi Omega Sorority. Mary Ann was involved with many charitable organizations such as Egleston Children's Hospital, The Junior League Sustaining Transfers, The Garden Club of Georgia and The Gypsies. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Brindell, Jr. and is survived by her daughter Ann and son Robert J. Brindell, III (Lynn) and grandson Boden, all of Atlanta. A memorial service will be held at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church at 2:00pm on September 22nd, followed by a reception in the Parish Hall.
