Melanie Evans, 33 of Dunwoody died August 14, 2023. Mrs. Evans was a class of 2008 graduate from Parkview High School then attended West Georgia College and graduated from Georgia State University. She enjoyed a career as a benefit consultant with Peachtree Benefit Group prior to becoming a full time wife and mother. Melanie was preceded in death by her father, Mark Crain and is survived by her husband of 8 years, Brandon Evans; sons, Barrett and Lawson Evans; mother, Maria Crain; brothers, Ben Crain, Jeffrey Crain; and sisters, Melissa Rosser, Samantha Crain. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org. A memorial service with a reception following the service will be Sunday, August 20, 2023 at 2 o’clock at Dunwoody United Methodist Church, 1548 Mount Vernon Rd., Dunwoody, GA 30338 with Rev. Kathy Brockman officiating.
