Patricia Ann Allgood died on May 9, 2023 at the age of 83. She was the daughter of Frank P. Pulaski and Letha Lena Pulaski (Mackey). She was born in Cleveland, Ohio and has resided in Atlanta since January 1962. Pat is survived by her husband, Bill Allgood; sons, Eric Allgood, Will Allgood (Randy); two brothers, Richard Young, a retired attorney and real estate broker, who resides in North Carolina with his wife Barbara [retired from the C.D.C], and Frank Young, a retired educator, who resides in Roswell Georgia with his spouse Rosemary Dashiell-Young [retired from The Coca-Cola Company]; and sisters-in-law, Diane Allgood, Rhett Allgood.
Pat met her husband Bill, of 51 years, as a journalism student at Georgia State University. They both were on the staff of the Signal, the G.S.U. student newspaper. They were married in the Emory Chapel in Oxford, Georgia. Bill’s late father was a major donor to Emory at Oxford. Among their hobbies were writing poetry and submitting those works for publication, traveling, and other vocations.
Pat and Bill were alumni of Georgia State University. Bill is also a four-year veteran of the Air Force (Vietnam War). They both retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation during the tenure of Tom Moreland who was then the D.O.T. Commissioner.
Pat was always kind to everyone and will be sorely missed by her siblings, her spouse, her friends, and her wonderful team of caregivers, i.e. Keasha, Kenya, and Ricky.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 1 o’clock at Arlington Memorial Park, 201 Mount Vernon Hwy., Sandy Springs, GA 30328. A reception will immediately follow the service at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd., NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
