Patricia Seward Hood

Patricia Estelle (McGee) Seward Hood, 84, a native Atlantan passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. Daughter of the late Henry Alexander and Arrie Mae Mallory McGee, Patricia graduated from Sylvan Hills High School and Perimeter College (fka Dekalb Nursing School). She was an orthopedic nurse at Piedmont Hospital and an active member of Peachtree Presbyterian Church for over 50 years. Family members include her loving children: Anne Pearce Hood, William Henry Seward, Jr. (Teresa Johnson Seward), Mary Elizabeth Struble (Christina Maria Naddra), Charles Mitchell Seward (Virginia Parks Seward); and grandchildren: Robert Bryan Struble, III (Destiny), Matthew Walter Struble, William Henry Seward, III, Robert Carter Seward (Katie), Nora Mary Seward, Anna Grace Seward, and Toby Brennen Seward, as well as a brother, Henry Alexander McGee (Betty Rose Herndon McGee), sister-in-law Mary Charles McDonald, and nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by William Henry Seward, Ezekiel Walter Hood, and her brother, Nelson Howe McGee. A very special thank you to all the dedicated, loving caretakers at Atria North Point, Alliant Home Care, and Inspire Hospice Care.

Services will commence on February 25th, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. at H.M. Patterson & Son-Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road, Sandy Springs, Georgia with Chuck Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. The family will host a reception following the interment at H.M. Patterson & Son-Arlington Chapel.
