Patty Ammons Cressaty, 71 of Atlanta, died peacefully on January 20, 2019. Patty was raised in Columbia, South Carolina. She graduated high school in 1965 and from there, went on to fly for Delta Airlines as a Flight Attendant for nearly twenty years. She met her husband, Rafik on one of her flights and they wed in 1978. They shared a wonderful life together overseas, living and traveling throughout Europe the Middle East and Africa where they raised 3 children. Mrs. Cressaty is survived by her husband of over 40 years, Rafik J. Cressaty; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph W. and Aubrie Cressaty; daughter and son-in-law, Liz and Beau Stacey; son and daughter-in-law, Patrick G. and Rebecca Cressaty; grandchildren, Avett Cressaty, Oliver Cressaty, Cam Milo, Avery Cressaty, Samuel Stacey; and brother, Walter Hampton, Ronald Ammons. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 o’clock and have a funeral service at 2 o’clock on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at H.M.
