

Pascal Brady Burdett, Jr. "P.B.," loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, died Sepember 4, 2011.
Born September 5, 1934, he was predeceased by his parents, P.B. Sr. and Julia Burdett. A native Atlantan and an original member of the "Buckhead Boys," P.B. was a graduate of North Fulton High School and the University of Georgia. At Georgia, he was a letterman on the varsity basketball team and a member of Chi Phi Fraternity. He served for two years in the Army stationed in Alaska as a military policeman. P.B. was employed by Fulton County and after many years of service, retired as Director of Adult Probation. He is survived by his wife Judy Hackett Burdett, his sister Joneta Burdett Campbell (Shirley), his children Julie Burdett McGowan (Al), Jay Burdett Weber, Ann Lee Burdett and Mitchell Brady Burdett (Fionnuala); stepchildren Chip Hackett (Claire), Kristi Hackett Jackson and Wade Hackett. He was lovingly known as "Big Pa" by his grandchildren Tiffany McGowan Outlaw (Michael), Jack and Ellie Weber, Grace and Ray Hackett, Robert Jackson, and Aidan and Brendan Burdett. The family will receive friends Thursday, September, 8th from 6-8 pm at H.M. Patterson & Son, 173 Allen Road NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. Following a private family burial, a Memorial Service will be held Friday, Sept 9 at 2:00pm in the Chapel at Wieuca Road Baptist Church, 3626 Peachtree Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30326, with a reception immediately following in the Heritage Room.
