Our beloved Phu-Long was born in Pleiku, Vietnam on July 27, 1981. He emigrated to the US with his parents and three siblings in April 1991, landing in Atlanta, which remained his home for his entire life. He had great childhood memories growing up in Dunwoody. He studied hard in school and loved to explore nature for leisure. Long graduated 2nd in his entire grade from Dunwoody High School in 1999, and joined his siblings at Emory University. After college, Long devoted nearly all his time working tirelessly in our family nail salon business. He was a great businessman who treated employees like his own family.
We have lost Long, who was truly one of a kind. He brought laughter and light into every room he entered. Long exuded kindness everywhere he went. He was the biggest advocate for the underdog. He identified and empathized with the downtrodden. He sacrificed to improve the lives of everyone around him. Once Long’s heart was set on something, he passionately pursued it to the end. Long challenged us to do better and do more. He was amazingly perceptive and had a talent for identifying the unique nature of every person he met. Thank you for loving us so well and working hard to make sure our family reaches highest stars. Long, you are our shining star! You are deeply loved and will be missed immeasurably.
