Rhea Engel, of Atlanta, died October 6, 2013. Mrs. Engel was originally from New York City and was a vibrant and exciting woman who lived her life to the fullest. She worked in the fashion industry for most of her life and operated Rhea, Inc. Rhea was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many who will dearly miss her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Engel and is survived by her son, Jeffrey Engel (Jonathan Bass); daughter, Tracy Ulrich (Tim); grandchildren, Dana Ulrich, Laura Ulrich, Eric Engel, Shellie Porter; and great granddaughter, Hollis Engel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The William Breman Jewish Home, 3150 Howell Mill Rd., Atlanta, GA 30327. A memorial service will be Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 2 o’clock at Patterson’s Arlington Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd., NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
