I am honored to have known and worked with Richard for the past 16 years. As a young business woman he was so kind and supportive. His encouraging words and jokes every time we spoke left a smile in my day. I will truly, truly miss seeing your calls and hearing your voice.  God bless you Richard and his entire family.

I would see his number appear on my incoming phone line and could only guess what the first thing Mr. Rice would say - sometimes work related if he was in a hurry, but most often it was "Did you hear the one about..." and would start with his jokes.  Work was discussed much later! He will be missed.

I am grateful to have known Richard Rice since the early 90s.  Helpful, kind, and knowledgeable are the traits Richard had in abundance.  He will be missed at the courthouse.  God Bless Richard and his family.

I have spoken to Mr. Rice over the years when he would contact the Trustee's office.  Always pleasant and friendly with kinds words.  RIP Mr. Rice.   Prayers to Mr. Rice family.

My sincerest and heartfelt condolences go to the family of this kind gentleman. I met him years ago at the Bankruptcy Court, as a creditor Paralegal from the "other side of the fence." His quality representation of and his genuine concern for his clients gained him the respect of all in the Bankruptcy community, and the friendship of those who got to know him. Although his clients always came first, he would take a moment to say something nice and give you a smile, and sometimes a joke to make your day. May God Bless him and his family in this time of loss and in the days to come.

I'd like to send condolences to the entire Rice family.  I grew up with the Rice family and have fond memories of all of us playing soccer together and having Richard as a coach.  Richard also helped me out when I desperately needed legal aid and I have never forgotten that.  You will certainly be missed.  To the family I will keep each and every one of you in my prayers.

Richard A. Rice, a man that knew exactly what to say and when to say it! Mr. Rice demanded my time and attention each and every time he entered the office. He would enter the office with a compliment that surely kept me blushing, take care of business, then right before leaving he would tell a strong joke, lol! Mr. Rice really helped me through some difficult days by simply showing up. Much love and much peace.

I have known Richard for my whole legal career. I will always remember Richard for his kindness and his trait of always giving a compliment.  He always found something nice to say to make another feel good.  Richard you will be missed but not forgotten by your legal community of friends.  Peace.
