

Born on March 17, 1991, Richie was the cherished son of Dr. Howard Stirne and Cynthia Stirne, and stepson of Kathy Stirne.
Richie is lovingly survived by his sister, Sara Stirne; his stepsister, Holly Jones; and her daughter, Sophie. He also leaves behind many beloved friends and extended family, including his best friend, Sam Stribling; Sam's parents, Wade and Celine Stribling; and his girlfriend, Giorgi Arnett.
He was a proud graduate of Marist School, where he formed lifelong friendships and first began to distinguish himself as a young man of intelligence and leadership.
At The University of Georgia - Terry College of Business, he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy and later his Master of Accountancy with a concentration in Audit. He was a proud member of Beta Alpha Psi, the honor society for accounting and finance students, as well as the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity.
Richie's professional journey was marked by drive, integrity, and a remarkable ability to inspire and lead those around him. His career began in public accounting with roles at Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers, before he transitioned into executive leadership in the financial technology sector. Richie championed strategic initiatives at EVO Payments, Inc., Bci Pagos (Santiago, Chile), and NCR Voyix, where he led the sale of its digital banking division to Veritas Capital in September 2024. Most recently, Richie served as the Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Candescent where he focused primarily on real estate, artificial intelligence, procurement, and separation.
Richie will be remembered for his mischievous smile, his kind heart, and his love of travel. His adventurous spirit and deep appreciation for other cultures were hallmarks of his life. His legacy continues on through the lives he touched-both personally and professionally-and in the memories held dearly by all who loved him.
Richie had a profound love of the outdoors, and his ashes will be scattered at Lake Burton, a place he greatly loved.
