Robert Bruce Dixon, Sr., 99 of Atlanta died February 21, 2016. Mr. Dixon along with his brothers founded Dixon Brothers and Dixon Tom-A-Toe. He then went on to start Little Giant Food Stores before becoming a successful farmer in Metter, GA. After selling his farm Mr. Dixon along with his son, Mickey started Little Giant Farmer’s Market in Jonesboro, GA. Mr. Dixon was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Cox Dixon and is survived by his children, Marlene Lee (Fred), Bob Dixon (Pat), Linda Williams (Tom), Mickey Dixon (Linda); 12 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at 10 o’clock with a funeral service at 11 o’clock on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd., NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery.
