Mr. Robert “Bob” G. Franz, Sr., 72, of Marietta died Wednesday, the 27th of February 2013. Surviving are his loving wife of 46 years, Ann Wooten Franz; sons and daughter-in-law, Robert “Rob” Franz, Jr. and Betsy Franz of Dunwoody, Jeff Franz of Alpharetta; and daughter, Barbara “Babs” Franz of Marietta. Memorial services celebrating Bob’s life will be held Sunday the 3rd of March at three o’clock at H. M. Patterson & Son Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road, NE, Sandy Springs. Pastor Bill Burch will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123 or Wellstar Community Hospice, 4040 Hospital West Drive, Austell, GA 30106.
