Ronald Jay “Ronnie” Lando, 81, of Cumming died October 16, 2018. Mr. Lando was born in Philadelphia, PA and was the son of the late Sidney and Shirley Lando. He graduated from Overbrook High School in Philadelphia and the University of Miami where he earned a degree in Industrial Management. Ronnie also served in the United States Coast Guard for 8 years. After he graduated from college, he went to work with his family’s grocery business D & L Farmer’s Market. Mr. Lando then relocated to Atlanta where he created his own company Ron-Kay Janitorial. After his retirement he returned to grocery business. Ronnie enjoyed many hobbies but most of all he loved spending time with his family and pets. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Bruceyne Kalish Lando; daughter, Sherri Lando Schuman and her husband, Larry; grandsons, Anthony and Joel Gaeta; sister, Beverly Somerson; and his beloved dog, Shana. Funeral services will be TODAY, October 18, 2018 at 2 o’clock in The Sunrise Chapel at Arlington Memorial Park, 201 Mount Vernon Hwy., Sandy Springs, GA 30328 with Rabbi Steven Lebow officiating.
