Ms. Ruth “Odie” Nolan, 55, of Roswell, GA, died on July 29th, 2014. Ruth passed peacefully, surrounded by family and friends. From the time of her birth in Fontainebleau, France, Ruth was an avid traveler with a great love for the sights and sounds of the world. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in French from Georgia State University, which served her and her family well during the years spent living in Waterloo, Belgium. Ruth enjoyed playing tennis in the Georgia sunshine and took great pleasure in debating politics around the dinner table. She was a steadfast friend to all animals-- particularly those of the feline persuasion! Ruth loved the many finer things in life, but she loved her friends and family most of all.
Ruth is survived and remembered by her mother, Claudie and stepfather George; her sister, Jean and her partner Kim; her daughter, Sylvia; and her son, Alex.
