Sarah “Tink” Trexler, 93, joined her beloved husband Bud and daughter Carol, on September 24, 2021. Tink was born August 27, 1928, in Suffolk, Virginia. She graduated from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where she met her future husband and soulmate. Those who knew Tink also knew she was the life of any party. Whether she was singing Dixie or Amazing Grace, it always included an extended piano concert and grand entertainment. In her late 80s and into her 90s, she loved playing for “the old people” in nursing homes. Tink lived a full and blessed life, and for that we are grateful. She leaves behind her son George Trexler (Lisa), daughter Suzanne Fink (Bob) and son in law Scott Bayliss, along with 7 adored grandchildren who could do no wrong—Ryan, Davis, Sarah, Alec, Robert, Anna and Caroline. A celebration of life will take place graveside at Arlington on October 15 at 1:00, with a gathering after at Suzanne’s house. In final thoughts, we want to thank Addington Place of Alpharetta, Agape Hospice and mom’s friend and caregiver, Nikki Cleckler, for the love, patience and dedication shown towards Tink. No doubt Tink has dusted off that baby grand in Heaven and is tickling some ivories.
