Scott was born on October 5, 1989 in Memphis, TN to Clayton B. Dean, Jr. and Pamela (Larche) Dean. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia where he was a member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. Scott worked as an Information Technology professional in the greater Atlanta area.
Scott had a passion for reading, traveling, sports, and his dog, Jax. He enjoyed working with computers and helping others with various technology problems. He was also known to many as an avid Frisbee golf player, a game where he would enjoy the competition and company of his close friends. He cherished spending time with his many friends from high school and college, relatives and cousins.
He is survived by his parents Clayton B. Dean, Jr. and Pamela Dean; siblings Matthew (Lydia), Trent, and Lisa Dean Lennox (Danny); uncles James C. Larche II, Stephen Larche, George Walter Dean Sr. (Kathy); aunt Pat Gray; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins who held a special place in his heart.
Scott’s family will receive friends at H.M. Patterson & Son-Arlington Chapel on Thursday, November 14, 2019, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will follow in the Chapel at 1:00 PM. Interment will be at Arlington Memorial Park following the funeral service.
The family has asked that donations be made in his memory to Golden Retriever Rescue of Atlanta in lieu of flowers.
