Sergio Leguizamon, age 82, of Sandy Springs, GA passed away on January 26, 2024 after a long and dignified battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, a rare neurological disorder. He is survived by his wife, Regina Storino; daughter, Cherita (Giles); son, Ara (Tiffany); step-sons, Paul Gibbs (Robin) and Michael Gibbs; step-daughter, Monica Bright (Charles); and his 9 grandchildren. Sergio was born in Asuncion, Paraguay on June 28, 1941. He attended Georgia Tech as a Fullbright Scholar and earned his engineering degree and a Master’s in Civil Engineering. He cofounded the engineering firm Browder + LeGuizamon & Associates Inc. His work includes many familiar landmarks that have helped create the footprint of Atlanta. Over the years, Sergio received numerous awards and recognitions. In both his personal and professional life, Sergio was admired for his kindness and his dedication to his profession.
