Sophia Mullings Jones

Sophia Denise Mullings Jones resting in Jesus’ hands January 6, 2012. Born December 29, 1961 in London, England. After spending her early years in Jamaica her parents migrated to New York City. There Sophia attended Sacred Heart Catholic Elementary School and Mater Christi Catholic High School. She then graduated from the University of Western Illinois with a bachelor degree in Political Science. Her paralegal career began with Finneghan Henderson Law Firm in Washington D.C. She then worked for Mattel Toy Company in California as the trademark administrator. Sophia then worked for Tyco and was currently the trademark paralegal for The Coca Cola Company! Sophia is survived by Antonio Jones and her children, Hunter and Fallon Jones; her parents, Ronny and Harleen Mullings; her sisters, Shaffron, Sonia, Sandra and Jennifer; her nieces and nephews, Steven, Ronia, Taylor and Jordan; her brothers-in-law, Walter and Steven Bumpas and Gary Jones; her uncles, Winston Tapper and Trevor Mullings; her aunts, Merl Markland and Cisyline Peters; her many cousins and friends whose lives she graced and blessed. Sophia’s greatest strength was her determination and drive that lead to a successful life. Her pride and joy is her children, Hunter and Fallon. Her comfort is her family and friends who loved her dearly. Sophia’s family would like to extend our gratitude to all who loved and touched her life.
