Stephanie Barbara Wolk, age 55, of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023.
Encapsulating Stephanie’s life into a brief bio is a nearly impossible task. Stephanie Barbara Wolk was a force of nature with a radiant smile that was always present. She never looked for approval from anyone for anything, and lived her life with passion. Whether teaching, traveling, fighting for justice, or just living her every day life, she was always fully present.

She loved her family; the one she was born into, and the one she chose. Stephanie made friends where ever she went, and kept them throughout her fleeting, but very full life.

Her nephew Ben was one of her true loves. She was so proud of him, but she had more than enough love to go around. Her bond was very close with her mom, brother Howie, and sister-in-law Jennifer. She was so excited to be planning her wedding to Stephen.

Stephanie’s life was cut short way too soon. She will be remembered forever with love by everyone who knew her.

My sweet, happy, beautiful daughter.  You are loved, you are missed and you are my heart.



The world lost a beautiful person with Stephanie passing. The last 5 months had been a horror for her and her Family. We will miss her, I will miss working with her, and her customers have shown their repects and will miss her as well. I will remember her as Ms Gregarious. Always smiling and giggling. Love you GIRL!!!

Dear Aunt Rhoda and Howie,
We’re very sorry to hear about Stephanie. I have a lot of fond memories growing up and seeing all of you at Grandmas. I always looked forward to going and seeing my cousins but I remember Stephanie quite a lot growing up and especially when Uncle Barry and you allowed me to stay with you in the summer of 88. She was a very easy person to get along with. I’m just so sad for you Aunt Rhoda. I hope one day it gets easier for you and Howie.

We are broken hearted about Stephanie.  I remember her visit with me when I lived in Vernon, New Jersey.  We had so much fun! It was "Another Tequila Sunrise" for Stephanie.   We laughed so hard about it. 
So true.  Stephanie lit up a room wherever she was.  I am so happy that I was able to see her in 2021 and more than thrilled for Stephanie that she found love.  True love...
The World was such a better place because Stephanie was in it...she will truly be missed

My sincerest condolences to all…her family, her friends, anyone who knew and was touched by that powerful light she emanated. I met  and worked with Stephanie in Seattle and then reconnected with her in Florida. 

No one could hug like her. You could literally feel her energy move from her and use it when you need it most.   And she was so generous with it. Genuinely. Always.

On behalf of myself, my family and all who knew her from Cornish College…love and light to all. Zichronah l’vracha. May her memory always be for a blessing.



The Secular Jewish Circle of Puget Sound was so sad to hear of Stephanie’s passing, way too young. Stephanie was a cherished member of SJC when she lived in the Seattle area - a dear friend, ever warm and ready with a smile. She was a natural as a greeter at the Passover Seder, making guests feel special and welcome. Stephanie was generous with her time and had abundant energy and enthusiasm, organizing programs, and hosting the summer gathering. The world lost a lovely, caring soul. Heartfelt condolences. 

This memory is an example of who Stephanie was. We went to see the Beastie Boys at the Gorge in WA State Memorial Day weekend of 2007. It was hot, but a wind storm came. We went to my car and found every item of clothes we could put on for warmth. It was a great weekend! I will miss her so much, but her infectious smile will always be with me.


What a wonderful day. The day Stephen proposed to you at the Paul McCarty concert. I was honored that you asked me to be your Maid of honor. I will miss you at Friday night diner and your giggles.

So many high school memories. I will miss your laugh and big heart.  Gone but not forgotten. Love you friend
