Catherine, Tom, Stan, and families:
I am so sorry that I didn't know Vernon had passed until today. Some of my best memories from childhood were playing in the back of his truck on warm summer evenings. He was so kind to all of us kids. It was so good to see all of the pictures, especially Charlotte.
My love goes out to all of you. I miss you.

We are sorry we did not make it to the visiting hours. We had planned on being there. We have so much going on with house renovations we lost track of time. We will always remember Mr Purcell, Stan, and Charolette and the many basketball games we enjoyed together at Cross Keys H.S. May God bless you all!

It has been a number of years since I have seen Mr. Purcell, but remember him well since the late 1960's/ early 1970's since Tom and I went to high school together. I remember Mr. Purcell well as a fair, loving, giving, and kind man. He also helped Sandra and I look for our first house in the late 1970's. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Our prayers go out to the entire family.
Blessings and love,
Barry and Sandra
